Activities

Movie nights are shown on the first Sunday of the month, September to June. They start at 7:00 PM. We have wine and snacks, just like the theatre.  All are welcome, just show up!

Once a month the College Club hosts an evening get together with wine and hors d’oeuvres, followed by entertainment or a program. Thursday evenings have seen various musicians, storytellers, and “murder mystery” events take place.

Bridge is played every Wednesday morning. We are always looking for additional players. If you would like to join us, contact Barb Kuvshinoff (716)-553-5722. Experienced players and beginners are both welcome. Just let Barb know!

Each Monday a special guest gives a presentation to members. Depending on the number of members attending, a catered luncheon is available for $22, or for smaller gatherings, a dessert is provided for $5. Lunch/dessert is at 12:00 pm followed by the presentation. Past presenters have discussed the history of the Buffalo Philharmonic, landscaping and gardening, philanthropic organizations such as Wheels for Work, local publishing, the recent spate of book banning, and local businesses.

Book Club is held monthly on the 2nd Friday of every month, September through June. Attendees select the books discussed, which span a variety of genres. All are welcome to join. 

The College Club of Buffalo invests its time and resources into community outreach programs such as the Fruit Belt Coalition. We also coordinate with local piano teachers, allowing them to give music lessons on our Steinway piano.
